The Pancreatic Cancer Working Group including Dr. Macleod at the University of Chicago Comprehensive Cancer Center convened the first PancMidwest Pancreatic Cancer Research Symposium in May 2024 (https://voices.uchicago.edu/pancmidwest/).  In total, 130 researchers (faculty and trainees) from 24 institutions and 11 states across the Midwest came together on May 14, 2024, for a one-day symposium involving a morning plenary session, four afternoon breakout sessions, and two poster sessions at the University of Chicago.
