Second year Macleod Lab graduate student in the Molecular Metabolism & Nutrition program passes her qualifying exam with flying colors and is now officially entered into candidacy for her PhD. Well done Leah on a beautiful presentation, some really novel phenotypes and on answering some tough questions well. And thanks to her thesis committee Drs. Scott Oakes (Pathology), Daria Esterhazy (Pathology) and Alex Muir (Ben May Department for Cancer Research) on great feedback and encouragement. We are all really looking forward to watching this project evolve.
